The First Day

As I sit here observing in the Fort Worth Convention Center there is an air of excitement about me. The United Methodist has invaded the “Cow town”. Many faces to see as well as many stories to tell. In just a few hours have spoken to many person from all over the world. I have saw a person who walks like a certain District Superintendent that I know whom will remain nameless. It is very interesting to hearing how people have migrated from area of the country to another. There are people from every corner of the world and they are dressed in their native attire. Various languages and believe it I have been able to communicate the people . language. I am amazed to see so many youth here at this conference but at the same time I am disappointed to see that there are not many youth from our area of the country. Today is full of registration, inquires for directions as well as networking. I have had an opportunity to visit the cokesbury area and there is something there for everyone. There is an International Village that has gift items from across the world. I must mention the Prayer room, it is really awesome and I am going to visit it just to get focused before worship. I must mention the that the members of the hosting committee and the volunteers are really extending “Gracious Hospitality. Tomorrow should be a very busy and exciting day full of work and worship. Stay tune for more detailed and interesting things on tomorrow.
